Christmas was great when I was a boy, Singing carols and receiving toys. As I grew older I got jaded, Santa and gifts seem so overrated. How do I get my Christmas spirit back, When I focused only on superficial acts. Christmas isn't only about acquiring toys, Or pseudo manufactured acts of joy. Now I am old enough to finally learn, It's better to give than look for returns. Our world is full of trials and strife, Let's be magnanimous and make it thrive.
