Why are we risking nuclear war over Ukraine? Have we gone mad? – Col. Richard Black (ret.)

The Schiller Institute is a German based political and economic think tank founded by Helga Zepp-LaRouche, with stated members in 50 countries. It is among the principal organizations of the LaRouche movement.[2] The institute’s stated aim is to apply the ideas of the poet and philosopher Friedrich Schiller to what it calls the “contemporary world crisis.” Their constitution, adopted in 1984, rails against international financial institutions and other supranational bodies, without naming any, for causing a state of tyranny in the world, especially among developing nations.

This is a sobering speech delivered by Col. Richard Black (ret.), former head of the U.S. Army’s Criminal Law Division at the Pentagon and former Virginia State Senator, on the May 26 Schiller Institute conference asking “Why are we risking nuclear war over Ukraine?“. This video is less than 15 minutes long.

The narrative about Russia’s aggression on Ukraine is very strong. But as usual there are two sides to every story. In any case, we cannot solve international problems by wars. In the confrontation between superpowers with thousands of nuclear war heads on each side, it is darn right dangerous to escalate the present Ukraine situation!
